Good Morning, Troop!

Our PLC met last night and scheduled our events for the rest of 2025. These have all been updated on our Troop Calendar (https://whitehousescouts.org/boys/calendar/). I’m only listing exceptions to Troop Meetings. If not listed below, assume the Troop Meeting is continuing as normal.

Aug 5th Troop Meeting – Scoutbook Sync, Meritbadge Cleanup, Lock-in Prep
Aug 8-9th Lock-in – Dessert Competition, Smash Bros/Mario Kart Tourney, Outdoor Competitions
Aug 12 – NO TROOP MEETING (day before school starts)
Sept 2nd – Class A’s for Troop Meetings
Sep 13th – Day trip to Epic Boulder Adventures in Grand Prairie
Sep 23rd – Court of Honor
Oct 11th-12th – Robbers Cave Backpacking in Oklahoma (Whitehouse Fall Break)
Nov 11th – Veterans Day Program
Nov 22-25th – Turkey Camp
December 12-14th – Elijah’s Retreat in Jacksonville(may move to the following weekend pending availability)
December 16th – Troop Christmas Party

**We need additional parent involvement this fall for camping. I will be unavailable for September and October camping**

Don’t forget, we have a Committee Meeting next week.
