Announcing Our 2025–2026 Cub Scouting Theme: Hometown Heroes

Good afternoon, Pack families!

We hope you’re enjoying a fantastic summer and soaking up those last few weeks before school kicks back into gear! As we prepare for another exciting year of Cub Scouting, we’re thrilled to share our theme for the 2025–2026 program year: “Hometown Heroes.”

This year, we’ll honor and celebrate our military heroes—both active duty and veterans—through meaningful activities and learning experiences. One of the highlights of the year will be our Pinewood Derby Heroes Race. We plan to send Pinewood Derby car kits to a unit currently stationed in Jordan, where service members will build and return the cars for a special race in their honor.

In addition, each of our pack meetings will feature a 10–15 minute guest appearance from one of our very own Hometown Heroes, who will speak to the Scouts about their service and sacrifice for our country.

If you or someone you know has served in the military and would be willing to be a guest speaker this year, we would love to hear from you!
