Blue and Gold, Flag Fundraiser

For the Blue and Gold ceremony this Friday, please follow this link for details:

Note that our den is in charge of the flag ceremony, so if you don’t plan to eat burgers at 5:30 ($10/plate, helps cover cost of ceremony), still plan to show up by around 6 or 6:15 so we can be fully prepped for presenting the colors and for the skit. 

Also: 

New Flag Sales – Scouts are encouraged to sell flag subscriptions to friends, family, and residents around East Texas (if you are unsure about coverage areas, get with Jason Beaton for more information)

Scouts will receive $22.50 deposited into their scout accounts for each flag subscription.

Why are you fundraising (example blurb if you need it): “I am fundraising to help provide me opportunities with Whitehouse Pack 359. Funds raised will go towards my uniforms, family campouts, special spring break and summer camps, scout trips, awards, and all scouting supplies. Scouting is teaching me some great values and I am excited to continue learning and growing. Thank you for supporting and being a part of my scouting journey.”

Flag sales are a perpetual fundraiser, and if customers like it, they can renew each year. Our goal is to have at least a couple of subscriptions per scout per year.
