**Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18**Pack 359 Scouts and families, Mom & Me weekend is almost here! 
Please review the forecast and prepare for a weekend of outdoor adventures, family bonding, and Scouting fun!
**WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST****Friday, October 16**
* High: 68°F | Low: 48°F
* Partly cloudy, with a small chance of rain.
* North winds of 20–30 mph during the day, decreasing overnight.
**Saturday, October 17**
* High: 67°F | Low: 46°F
* Mostly sunny with northeast winds of 10–15 mph.
* Clear and chilly overnight.
**Sunday, October 18**
* High: 72°F | Low: 49°F
* Mostly sunny with light easterly winds of 5–10 mph.
**WHAT TO PACK**Please prepare for cool mornings, chilly nights, and milder afternoons.
Warm layers, jackets, and extra clothing Sleeping bags and bedding suitable for temperatures in the 40s Closed-toe shoes for camp activities Water bottles and sunscreen Hats and personal essentials Rain gear, just in case Tent stakes, secure tent lines, and equipment to keep loose items from blowing away
**IMPORTANT: CURRENT BURN BAN**Panola County is currently reported to be under a burn ban. **Before using any campsite fire rings, please check with Camp Leaders for guidance and confirmation that their use is permitted under the current burn ban.**
Do not assume that an existing fire ring is automatically approved for use. All families must follow the current county restrictions and camp leadership’s instructions.
**ADDITIONAL SAFETY REMINDERS*** Friday’s strong winds may make tent setup challenging. Secure tents properly and keep loose equipment from blowing away.
* Saturday’s UV Index is forecast to reach **7 (High)**, so bring sunscreen and stay hydrated.
* Dress in layers to stay comfortable as temperatures change throughout the day.
* Keep an eye on Pack communications for any weather-related updates or changes to camp plans.
