Community Fishing Event This Saturday 7/12/25

We’d like to extend a warm invitation on behalf of J-C Cowboy Church of Cherokee County to a Community Kids Fishing Event happening this Saturday, July 12th at the Brookshire’s Recreation Center on Lake Palestine.

This event is open to all kids ages 8–16 and is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and have some fun! While this is not a scouting event, we thought it might be of interest to your group and wanted to share the opportunity.

All fishing equipment and lunch will be provided at no cost.

To help with planning, advance sign-up is required. For more information or to register, please visit the church’s Facebook page or contact James Jennings at (903) 283-2015.

We hope to see many of your kids there for a great day by the lake!
